It was a narrow area and we weren’t sure even with good plans how much space we would have. With the teams innovation we have a fantastic space. Crown built our single story rear extension, completed internal renovations and converted our garage with an infill extension to adjoin the house. Throughout the process, their depth of knowledge, understanding of the plans and expertise in the trade was clearly demonstrated. The build was very well organised by Guy, with stage payments agreed and set to the appropriate timelines, and truly delighted with the work completed to an extremely high standard and quality. Building through the pandemic we remain very thankful for the extra effort Guy and the Crown Construction team went to in sourcing the right materials. Guy and his team from crown construction built our 8m by 4m sky lighted extention with bathroom and utility running alongside , they also converted the garage into a bedroom again with a skylight . Dont hesitate to use crown construction , from my first meeting with guy he was honest , professional , and put in a very fiar price, his team of lads worked so hard were tidy , helpfull nothing being too much trouble , coming and going as agreed . Well after the bedroom/ensuite extension in 2014, we decided to do a single story 10x5 rear extension and opening up the rear of the house. If you have read my previous “build one” review on Crown, you’ll know we were nervous about going with the lowest quote. Well on this occasion we didn’t even get another quote. This build was bigger than previous, but still went up very quickly, even catching out other trades, such as the kitchen company who pushed our order believing it wouldn’t be ready... Again great suggestions by Guy which have resulted in the space being SO much better, accomodating lots of changes by me along the way, and taking them in his stride. Guy is very client focused, even when I was being a pain of a client. At the end of the build, we had an extra £3,000 to pay, and considering that covered some underpinning and lots of extras from me, we were very pleased.
